Las Vegas, Nev., International Consumer Electronics Show – January 6, 2009 – iBiquity Digital Corporation, the developer of digital HD Radio™ technology for AM and FM audio and data broadcasting, today highlights significant progress with HD Radio technology and a major increase in breadth and depth of HD Radio receivers that are guaranteed to wow consumers across a wide range of price points for 2009. As a sign of HD Radio technology’s rapid progress, the number of available receivers is approaching 100, almost double the SKUs at retail last January. Additionally, eleven automakers have announced their commitment to backing HD Radio technology and more than 1,800 AM and FM stations are broadcasting in digital across the country with over 900 HD2 and HD3 multicast channels on the air.

• New tabletop receivers are being unveiled by Acoustic Research, Gigaware, iLuv and Teac, adding to the expanding list of existing brands with tabletop receivers including Coby, jWIN, Polk and Sony, among others.
• Virtually every major A/V components manufacturer is committed to HD Radio technology with Yamaha equipping five out of its nine new components offerings with the digital upgrade.
• Dual, Jensen Mobile and JVC are expanding on their existing presence with new automotive receivers.
• iLuv, Coby, Denon, Onkyo/Integra and Yamaha are adding to their home HD Radio receiver line.
• The majority of Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony receivers are HD Radio Ready.
